Consultation

For clinicians, healthcare teams, and individuals seeking thoughtful consultation around complex questions.

Sometimes the answer isn't more information. Sometimes it's a different perspective.

Whether you're navigating a complex clinical situation, considering treatment options, seeking guidance around chronic pain or health-related concerns, or looking for interdisciplinary collaboration, consultation offers a space to think through challenging questions with support.

What this work looks like

Consultation is different from therapy. Rather than focusing on ongoing treatment, consultation is typically centered around a specific question, challenge, decision, or area of uncertainty.

Depending on the situation, consultation may involve reviewing clinical considerations, discussing psychological factors relevant to medical care, exploring treatment recommendations, supporting interdisciplinary communication, or offering a second opinion on complex cases.

My background in health psychology, chronic pain, interdisciplinary medical care, mindfulness-based interventions, and psychedelic-informed care allows me to bring both psychological expertise and systems-level thinking to these conversations.

Some consultations involve a single meeting. Others develop into ongoing collaboration over time.

Consultation may be helpful if…

  • You are a clinician seeking input on a complex case.

  • You are part of a healthcare team navigating psychological or behavioral factors affecting treatment.

  • You are looking for consultation related to chronic pain, chronic illness, or mind-body health.

  • You are interested in mindfulness-based or psychedelic-informed approaches and want additional perspective.

  • You are seeking interdisciplinary collaboration or case consultation.

  • You are considering a treatment decision and would benefit from a psychological perspective.

  • You want a thoughtful second opinion regarding a clinical or health-related concern.
